New York Riptide Staying in Nassau County

The New York Ripetide announce today that they have signed a multi-year lease extension with Nassau Coliseum. The news reaffirms the team's commitment to Long Island and Nassau Coliseum. The Ripetide are Long Islands professional indoor lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team has made a number of moves this off-season to fight for the title this season. The home opener for the team is December 3 against the San Diego Seals at 7:30pm make sure to grab tickets to the match and support the Riptide. They offer a variety of ticket packages and have a number of events each season for their fans. The team will play nine home games this season, spanning from December through March. So come on down and cheer on your hometown team and watch as they battle to make a deep run in the playoffs this season and hopefully bring home the title. Last offseason, the Riptide hired NLL Hall of Famer Jim Veltman as general manager and five-time NLL champion Dan Ladouceur as head coach. The team also signed four-time NLL All-Pro Callum Crawford and selected two-time Tewaaraton Trophy nominee Jeff Teat with the first overall pick in the NLL draft.
